Is the app free?
+Yes, the app will always be free to use. A one-time premium purchase unlocks Shared lists & Advanced imports. Everything else stays free, with no subscription required.
Do I need to create an account?
+Nope. No sign-ups, passwords, or email accounts. The app works directly with your Apple account through iCloud.
How do recipe imports work?
+Open any recipe from a website or supported app, share it to the app, and the ingredients are turned into a grocery list automatically. No copying, pasting, or manually typing ingredients. *This feature is constantly being improved and new recipe apps are added regularly.
Does it work offline?
+Yep. Add and tick items off without any signal, your list catches up with iCloud when you’re back online.
Is my data private?
+Yes. Your lists are stored in your personal Apple iCloud account using CloudKit. The app developer cannot see your lists or personal data.
Can I share with my family or housemates?
+Yes, with the premium upgrade, you can share lists and shop together in real time. Family Sharing is enabled, and users invited to a shared list do not need to have the premium upgrade.
What if I lose my phone?
+Your list lives in iCloud. Sign in on the new phone and it’s waiting for you.
